We had a wonderful time pressing apples at the community garden. Over 50 people came along to help out, there was music, laughter and lots of apples and of course juice! Great teamwork on the day meant we got through a tremedous number of apples, producing juice to drink and take away. We also replenished our compost bays with the apple mush. Of course we also left plenty of apples on our tree for the local wildlife.
Many more images are available on our Facebook page. Many thanks go to everyone who came along to help out, brought apples, the band – The Glaaswalkers, and North Wales Wildlife Trust for lending us the pressing equipment.
